Meet the pilots: Maximilian Seis
Max is the youngest SGP World Champion to date, winning the Sailplane Grand Prix Final in 2015 in Varese (Italy), at just 21 years old! He confirmed many times during other international championships that he has the potential and the will to win, finishing 3rd on the SGP serie X.
Flying had been his dream since a young age so he started gliding at 15 years old in Bordeaux. He quickly started to fly in competition and at 19, he represented France for the Junior World Gliding Competition. When asked what he likes in competitions, he replied: “ Learning from one's mistakes (and those of the others) and the thrill of flying with and against some very good pilots. Meeting new people from all over the world and discovering new places to fly are also great fun.”
Max also speaks fluent French, German and English and he will be one of our «best spot» during interviews and he will also be a strong competitor able to reach the top step of the podium. We are looking forward to seeing him in a few days! if you cannot wait, find his fast and curious here.
