This season will define the limits of skill, strategy, and pure flight, taking our community to some of the most dynamic and challenging arenas on the planet. From the historic airfields of Europe to the towering peaks of the Southern Hemisphere, this is the ultimate global series.

We don't rely on engines; we rely on the pilot's mastery of the sun, the wind, and the atmosphere. The 11 qualifying events below are the battlefield, and the World Final is the ultimate prize.

The FAI Sailplane Grand Prix Series 13 Calendar

The Road to the Finals begins in Europe and spans five continents, demanding every type of soaring expertise from mountain ridge running to flatland thermal tactics.

The Ultimate Preparation for the Crown

Every pilot knows that Series 13 is a marathon, not a sprint. The qualifying events offer diverse challenges, from the technical flatland racing in Sweden and Australia to the high-altitude tactics required in the Pyrenees (Santa Cilia) and the Alps (Varese).

The pressure will be immense at the final qualifying event in Santa Cilia, as it is the last chance for pilots to book their ticket to the pinnacle event: the World Final in Vitacura, Chile in January 2028.

With the Vitacura qualifying event taking place one year prior, the Series 13 calendar provides the ultimate opportunity for pilots to gather crucial performance data and gain experience on the very slopes that will decide the World Champion.
