D2 - No Race

Due to a cold front passing through the Pavullo area with high winds and low clouds, the race on Day 2 of the SGP Finals was cancelled. Competition Director Brian Spreckley said, 'Safety is always the first consideration. With the forecast of high winds and turbulent conditions, we decided that today should be a rest day.'

The pilots instead have the opportunity to visit the area's attractions. Some pilots are heading to the two Ferrari museums at Maranello and Modena, which are a short drive from Pavullo.

Other places of interest in the region are the Luciano Pavaroti House Museum and the Baslamic Vinegar Production Museum.

Looking forward, the weather may clear enough to race tomorrow, Tuesday, and conditions through the rest of the week seem to be lining up for some exciting racing.
